Been a long time a comin'

I was going to do this on Sunday evening, but I was not able to. I thought for sure that I would have internet access where I was at, but alas I did not. Then did not get back home until about 11:00 last night, so here I am now trying to post for the first time in months. I am glad that there are so many that cared enough to keep this going through the comments section. I will try to put up a new post at least twice a week, with a few exceptions.

Today I would like to get your opinion on the schedule at the church. Comming from the perspective of the youth, what do you think about the schedule of having lunch and finishing up by 1:30? Would you like to do something similar to what Jake started when he was here? And finally I would like to know what kind of things you would like to see done with Wed. nights.

Sorry Jordan, for leaving you mostly out of this post, but I would like your feedback as well. Even though you cannot attend on Wed. on a regular basis anymore, since you moved away, you still know how things were going and can still give feedback as to what you would have liked to have seen. Now I have to go so I can study. Will post again soon.

aaaaaaaah!!! You posted! I thought there for a moment my computer messed up.... YAY!

My thoughts don't really count right now as we will be moving, but I personally liked the way we had it before the lunch. The lunch time is supposed to be a fellowship time, but most of the time it is; 1)So noisy you can't hear the people across the table from you, and 2) People hang around the same people each week so there really is no 'church' fellowship, just talking to friends. I do like, however, that there is always a lot of pasta dishes there. ;)

And I can't give you my appinion about the Wed. nights because I haven't been there in over a year. sad, isn't it? Maybe I will get to go sometime before we move...?

Nick

WV: bumxntay. Cool! I am going to use something like that in my book!!

I guess my thoughts don't count either because 1) I'm not IN youth group, and 2) We're moving, but I think that I like the schedule how it is now because I get to spend some time fellowshipping with people I don't see but once a week, and it's hard for people who live in Fayetteville/Springdale area to make it twice in one day, especially with gas prices the way they are :)

Aaah, thanks Chris! I don't feel left out :)

And the new Church schedule sounds good from what I can tell.

Also, what exactly did Jake start while he was there? Sorry :D

Tsuhn would actually make a cool name....if you weren't writing a modern book :)

Like:

or:

"Alik rode on his horse, Tsuhn, who was black and gray.."

Well....maybe it can just stick with being a word verification :)

Hey, I was just reading back on some of the comments, and I came across the ones when we were talking about what we want on our gravestones. I'm not sure what I would want on my gravestone, but it would be cool if they played 'Gone' by switchfoot at my funeral....that doesn't sound right, does it?

u r werid rachel...and no that doesnt sound right...hmm...i like the song though....i think that people would think that it would be rude to play at a funeral...dont u?

Well, ego(=1), I don't think they would think it was rude if they knew I wanted it played...anyways, who wouldn't want SF playing at anything important (except Nick)?

No!! Why would it be rude?? I mean, if people didn't like SF, then i would get it, but it would be true!!

"Gone, like Frank Sinatra
Like Elvis and his mom
Like Al Pacino's cash
Nothin lasts in this life..."

That would be true. And maybe, possibly, if whoever heard that LIKED SF, then they would understand! If not, then I guess I won't invite anyone to my funeral. Ha! Oh wait, how can I invite people if I'm dead? Oh nevermind. *Sigh*

Why is no one commenting on this posts?? :) Just kidding. Just so you know, Mr. Collins told me IN PERSON that he would try to update every month, saying that he would update sooner or later, and in the end he would never update. So he IS alive! He's just....busy!(maybe...?)

At October 14, 2008 at 4:46 PM , Blogger Liljd said...

Oh no... We KNOW he's alive. We're just all wondering about his.... ahem.... attendance? Our fear is not that he has died, but that the life he's living has been wasted (again) by falling off the face of the earth. We fear not for his existance, but his mental state during his existance! We fear not for what is, we fear only for what it MEANS my dear Rachel! For the thing to fear REALLY is the fact that NO LONGER CAN WE CHECK HIS BLOG WITH CONFIDENCE, FOR SOMEONE CANNOT REMEMBER TO POST!!! If he were dead, we would at least have the assurance that no post would be made. But now we are left... dying in this bitter cold... wondering if, (wistful thinking) perhaps, a post could return to us? If that forgetfull man could really someday -beyond all hopes- return?

No Rachel, we are not worried for his life. The real fear? Look over the edge of the earth. See for yourself the horrors that are to come.

(Namely? A barren wasteland with no blog posts.)

Hey, who wants to read something Jordan and I did? Here it is....ya don't have to read it :)

"Everything that is good and pure in this world is made of chocolate."

rright

*quivers lower lip as tears well up in eyes*

Awww, it's ok.
*sniff sniff*
Oh, well, ok...

:-o

*attempts a smile*

oooh, Jordan, it's ok...wait, why are you crying anyways?

*sniff sniff*
Be- because you- you- *breaks down in humongous tears*
*wipes eyes* Wait, maybe you were... agreeing with me and not being sarcastic?

*suddenly forgets all symathetic thoughts*
ME? Sarcastic? *sniffs in mortification*

*stares at Rachel in somewhat of a glare*

*returns the glare*

*starts sniffling again*
*recovers self and glares a hard, cruel, glare*

*breaks down laughing*

*stares blandly at Rachel with half closed eyes*
*seems rather unamused*

Keeps remembering really funny stuff and CANNOT stop, no matter how
unamused Jordan is

*keeps staring at Rachel with no apparent expression *

*keeps laughing*
*suddenly starts going crazy and singing Stars by SF with a different tune...*

* blinks and that's all*

*suddenly falls on the floor... everything's
black...wait....Jordan?....help.....noooo!.....heeeellllp.....*

*suddenly jerks to awakeness* Rachel, are you ok??? Rachel! can you
hear me?!?! RACHEL! *starts rappidly splapping your face* RACHEL!!!
NO!!!! Wait, I've gotta call an ambulance! *quickly dials 9-1-1*

Everythings........fading......wait....OW!!!! Who slapped me? OWOWOW!!
Stoppit!!!

Rachel, you live!!! *stops slapping and squeezes you just as the
ambulence pulls up* * I run to open the door* *five men rush in and
see you on the floor* *hesitantly they pick you up and haul you away*
*shudders and sits down* *calls hospital to ask how you are* *hangs up
as I find out you're not even there yet*

*starts thrashing in the doctors office, eyes rolling wildly, sweat
dripping from brow...*Jordan...wouldn't stop....slapping me!!!* bursts
into a fit of giggles and then passes out*

Doctor one: You think she's going to make it?
Doctor two: It's doubtful but... miracles happen.
Doctor three: We really can't hope for a miracle right now. It IS pretty bad.
Doctor one: *sighs and gets tools*
Doctore three: Who's going to break the news to Jordan?
Doctor two: *holds breath* We'll wait.
Doctor three: Ok, if that's what you want to do.
Doctor one: *returns, sets tools on table, and rubs go-t* How are we
going to do this?
Doctor two: You don't remember?!?!?! You're dangerous then... we can't
have you giving medicine to sick patients if you don't remember how!
Doctor one: I meant how to tell Jordan.
Doctor three: WE'RE WAITING.
Doctor one: Oh.

*eyes open* Tell her I said goodby-
*words cut off by another fit of giggles then sobs then passes out for
a second time*

Doctor one: Poor girl. She never had a chance.
Doctor two: Don't worry, there was nothing anyone could've done.
Doctor one: Still...
Doctor three: Should we tell Jordan now?
Doctor one: And what about her poor parents! And relatives?
Doctor three: *rubs face* it's always so hard when we have to do this...
Doctor two: Let's call them.
Doctor three: Ok. Let's start with Jordan since she witnessed the
horrible event.
Doctor two: *grabs phone and mumbles something* *hangs up and gasps*
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: You ok?
Doctor two: That was creepy. The disease must be able to spread from
person to person...
Doctor three: You mean...
Doctor two: Yep.
Doctor one: Well, let's get on with it. *gets surgical tools and walks
up to Rachel who is laying on the bed*

*opens eye* You mean she's gonna join me here? Whoopee!! *springs out of bed*
*immediatly collapses*

Doctor one: Ach! Get her back in bed! Tie her down if need be! Call
the police, call a doctor!
Doctor two: ...
Doctor one: Forget the doctor, bring some medicine for the poor girl!
Doctor three: *runs and grabs medicine*
Doctor one: Ach! Help the girl! *picks Rachel up and tosses her back in bed*
Doctor two: *Gets out a big scary knife for surgery* *walks towards
Rachel's bed*

Starts wailing piteously as the knife gets closer...

Doctor two: *jerks back, drops knife, and holds ears*
Doctor three: *jumps back and holds ears*
Doctor one: *jumps back and holds ears*
-twenty minutes later-
Doctor one: Will she ever stop?
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: WILL SHE EVER STOP???
Doctor two: What?
Doctor three: What?
Doctor one: *Finally passes out from yelling so loudly*
-lightbulb flashes above Doctor two's head-
Doctor two: *covers Rachel's mouth with one hand and holds ears with other one*
Doctor three: *goes to answer the door which someone apparently was pounding on*

*jumps back as Jordan burst in the door, foaming at the mouth*
Jordan: *jumps on Rachel*
Oh hi! What are you doing here? *passes out*

*Blinks eyes open*
Oh....hi Jordan...Dr.? I think she needs medicine....*giggles and passes out*

Doctor one: *looks sadly at Rachel* *sighs and looks at Doctor
three* Hand me my medicine!
Doctor three: *gets medicine and hands it to Doctor one who is putting
gloves on*
Doctor one: *gives Rachel and Jordan each painless shots* I surely
hope that they'll be ok...
Doctor two: The medicine has never failed us before...
Doctor three: But really, only time will tell.

*winces as the medicine is enjected, shivering as an odd feeling engulfs her*
Dr....please...no....wrong medicine....I mixed up the bottles.....this is.....*
*makes a strange noise and passes out*
Doctor one: *quickly looks at bottle and gasps* This is... lemonade!
Doctor two: YOU GAVE HER... LEMONADE???
Doctor three: *slaps own face and glares at Doctor one*
Doctor one: *sits down in a chair and reads "How to be a doctor for dummies"
Jordan: *starts having weird giggling fits in sleep* Rachel! Let's
have a... *giggle* lemonade party! *rolls over and smiles crookedly*

*coughs* Lemonade? I'm allergic to lemonade! *sneeze* *sneeze* give me
some *sneeze* tea! *cough* *cough*

Doctor one: *quickly makes tea, spilling as much as gets it into the cup*
Doctor two: *throws tea to Rachel*
Doctor three: *Is concerned*
Doctor two: *shows tea to Jordan* *Eyes ask the question, "You want some?"*
Jordan: *waves hand as if to say, No thanks.* Wait, Rachel?!?!
Are you ok???? *starts shaking and slapping Rachel* ARE YOU OK???
*

*Slowly blinks eyes open*
I-I think....*I begin weakly*
OUCH!! Stop slapping me!! Grrr!!! *jumps on Jordan*

Jordan: OUCH! *tries to push Rachel off* Gerroff of me!

*Suddenly stops and passes out from the effort*

Jordan: *stares at Rachel* Ummm.... Rachel? RACHEL??? RACHEL!?!?!? WAKE UP!? Rachel dear, GET UP NOW!!!!

*Sometime later*

*blinks eyes open* *the room is spinning....slower....slower....it suddenly stops and I grow dizzy*

*Sits up and realizes it was a dream. Jordan walks in, wobbling on her feet.*

"I had the weirdest dream..."

Jordan: "It wasn't a dream."

Me: "Huh?"

Jordan: It wasn't a dream. They got annoyed at us and sent us home. With all the stuff they pumped into you, I'm surprised you're awake. Hey, there's some lemonade in the fridge, you want it?"

Me: **faints at the thought*

Jordan: Hmm. Umm.... ok, chocolate?

- Hide quoted text -
Rachel: *jumps up* Chocolate! I looove chocolate! Especially MILK chocolate! I think chocolate is AMAZING, don't you??

Jordan: *nods* Yep. Everything that is good and pure in this world is made out of chocolate

Hello, Jordan, Rachel, Nick, Nanci, Tyler, Kole, Kade, Beth, and Luke. It is good to be back. But I want to see how far this can go. Keep commenting on this post just for fun. I will try to post regularly now that I know how important it is to all of you. I was feeling as though no one appreciated me so I fell off the Earth (it's flat u know). But I held on with one hand and then pulled myself up. Now I know that you all care and want to know that I am not dead. Thank you so much. Posting will now be regular. (That doesn't mean everyday.) Maybe twice weekly.

We take a few hundred billion dollars- no, more- and build a gigantic railing all around the earth so that people will stop toppling off.

Any votes on who we hire to build it? The company that will supply the fencing? Where we'll get the money?

Oh good! I'm not the only one that forgets the names of her own stuff- Sorry poor charries! There are two different (and EXTREMELY important) charries in the backstory of the Hidden Doorway. I've called them BOTH Shael quite a few times... then I realized that I was doing that and couldn't remember which was which :( Sorry Shael, whichever one you are!!!

Tidus: Shael?

Tidus: I'm related to Jack?!?!

Me: NO! I mean I'm not sure which is named Shael...

Tidus: ?!?!WHY?!?! There's like... a HUGE differance between the two!!! You've got a guy who went from thief to general and united the lost tribes, then eventually died to save them!!! Then you've got the guy's opposite- who bore ME and is... eh, what was it that happened to him?

Me: -nervously chuckles- Uh, hmm hmm, let's uh... get you doing something else, shall we?

Tidus: What? Is my father important in the story?

Me: Eh... aha aha ok let's move on! -pushes Tidus out of room- -looks relieved- Yes, the ultimate cliche... Sirion is actually Tidus's dad, though he once had a different name. But the rest of it is not cliched, I took a whole new take on the father/son thing!!!
