I would like to know what everyone is reading right now, so for this current post I was wondering if I could get some comments letting me know what you are reading in Scripture and also if you are reading anything outside of scripture(even if it is not "Christian"). Will post again later this afternoon and will look at the comments then.

In the service of Christ,

Chris

Post and they will come!!!!!

Interesting reading list. I too like to read multiple books at a time. I get too bored reading just one and I am not always in the mood to read a certain book. Thanks for checking. Let everyone know that I am back and for good this time.

I'm reading the 'Read the New Testament & Prov. in a year' from HCBC, Warriors Srs., A Series by Janette Oke that I got today and havn't actually started yet, I also got a book Mom found and I forgot what it was called... it's by the same author who wrote 'Because of Winn-Dixie'.... I've already read the first two books in the Inheritance Cycle twice, and Lord of the Rings... and the Hobbit. And Nick got the first two in the Inheritance Cycle a couple weeks ago from the library and Eldest had an excerpt from Brisingr which I shouldn't have read, but I did, because the book hasn't come out. That was pretty confusing, wasn't it?

Are they as good as the books?? Probably not, since you don't actually read ;)

well... it depends. If you prefer reading to listening, then they're not good at all. But it's read by the author and voiced by other talented people, and they didn't change anything, so they come close to being as good. The author reads it how it was intended to be, and the voice cast makes it feel real. The books however leave room to imagine your own voices... if you don't like the voice on the audio tape, you're sunk
